This is a first! An actor named Jeremy Piven, has left a plum role in a Broadway play by the famed David Mamet. Piven cites high mercury levels in his blood due, possibly, to eating too much sushi. Or, it’s the result of ingesting too many Chinese herbs. See the story here on Reuters. William H. Macy, a brilliant actor in my humble opinion, is taking over the role in Mamet’s play, “Speed-the-Plow.”
